Meet Jean

Hello! Thank you for stopping by! One of my favorite things to do is get to know you better, but before we do, here are a few things you should know about me. I married my high school love, and we have four independent, yet very different girls. I adore my animal babies as much as I do my human babies. After my husband was stationed at Nellis AFB, we relocated to Las Vegas in 2005 and have called it home since. I appreciate the simple things in life because, let's face it, life isn't always so straightforward. I enjoy a big cup of coffee in the morning, saying hello or giving a smile to a stranger, working out so I can eat what I want, traveling on new adventures, and watching a game of soccer.

In my grandmother's living room is where I fell in love with photography. She used to set up all her lights, hang a black backdrop from the entertainment center, and take my pictures for hours when I was a young girl. As she fiddled around attempting different ways, I would pose until my heart's content. We would marvel at what we had created after having the film developed. Those photos remain some of my favorite childhood memories to this day.

I had always taken pictures of my daughters, like my grandmother had done with me, but one day I realized that I wanted to do more with it. I want others to have moments in life that can be frozen in time, the moments you wish you could relive, the moments that should be remembered. I went to college and earned a Bachelor of Science in Photography. Wedding photography happened to fall into my lap by chance. I was introduced to a local wedding photographer while I was in school, documenting a year-long event. We instantly became friends, and she taught me the ins and outs of wedding photography. I was her 2nd and associate photographer for many years before starting my own photography business in 2010.
